Bali Bali One’s magnificent split-level living space features comfortably upholstered L-shaped seating flanking the triangular apex opening to the garden. A massive stone slab serves as a coffee table, and weathered woodcarvings, textiles and tribal artefacts rise from the expanse of polished teak floor.
Shallow V-shaped steps lead to the dining area defined by an angled wall of Palimanan stone, where a table for eight looks onto tall Traveller’s Palms. (The kitchen is conveniently next door but out of sight.)
The mezzanine level suspended above the living space creates a cosy corner for flipping through a book or watching a film. This intimate space is furnished with comfortable seating and equipped with cable television, DVD player and a CD player.
The poolside terrace is the perfect spot for languishing in the sun or retiring to the shade of the balé. And the manicured lawn is just the place for enjoying a barbecue or a Balinese buffet under the stars; an all-weather table for eight can be set up on request.
